Update QuickBooks and allow EverLogic in QuickBooks.
REMINDER: Open QuickBooks Desktop, prior to opening EverLogic.
ISSUE: Not able to type 'yes' when giving EverLogic permission to access QuickBooks Desktop. Follow the steps below to update QuickBooks and allow EverLogic in QuickBooks.
Update QuickBooks
1. Make sure QuickBooks Desktop is updated
A. Access the Update Feature:

- Log into QuickBooks Desktop
- Go to the Help Menu
- Select Update QuickBooks Desktop

B. Initiate the Update Process:

- Access the Overview Tab
- Click Update Now

C. Monitor the Update:
-

- The status message will indicate the progress of the update
- Once all updates are complete, the status message will show "Update Complete"

Allow EverLogic in QuickBooks
1. Run QuickBooks Desktop, as Administrator, sign-in as Single - User Mode
2. Go to Edit and select Preferences
3. Select Integrated Applications
4. Choose the Company Preferences Tab
5. Locate the EverLogic Application to allow access
6. Select EverLogic, then select Properties
7. Click the Access Rights Tab, in the Properties window
8. Check the box next to "Allow this application to read and modify this company file"
