Here's a general guide:
1. Access your device's password manager:
-
-
- Android: Open the Settings app, then go to "Passwords" (or "Passwords and Autofill," or "Google" then "Passwords").
- iOS: Open the Settings app, then go to "Passwords".
- Windows: Open the Settings app, then go to "Accounts" and then "Passkeys".
- Other password managers: Follow the specific instructions for your password manager (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password).
-
2. Locate the Passkey:
-
-
- Find the website or app for which you want to delete the passkey.
- If using a password manager like Google or Apple Keychain, you might need to navigate through different sections (e.g., "Google Password Manager" then "Passkeys").
-
3. Delete the Passkey:
-
-
-
- Look for an option to "Delete" or "Remove" the passkey.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
