Unable to Connect to QuickBooks with Passkey Activated

The QuickBooks Passkey can prevent you from logging into QuickBooks, causing a looping login issue.

1. Sign in to your Intuit Account

2. Click your account icon, upper right-hand corner

3. Select Manage your Intuit Account

4. Choose Sign in & security

5. Open Passkeys

6. Locate the passkey you wish to delete and click Delete

7. Click Delete Passkey


IMPORTANT: You should also delete this passkey from your device password manager, steps below. This prevents it from being shown as an autofill suggestion the next time you sign-in.

Here's a general guide:

1. Access your device's password manager:
      • Android: Open the Settings app, then go to "Passwords" (or "Passwords and Autofill," or "Google" then "Passwords").  
      • iOS: Open the Settings app, then go to "Passwords". 
      • Windows: Open the Settings app, then go to "Accounts" and then "Passkeys".  
      • Other password managers: Follow the specific instructions for your password manager (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password).  
2. Locate the Passkey:
      • Find the website or app for which you want to delete the passkey.  
      • If using a password manager like Google or Apple Keychain, you might need to navigate through different sections (e.g., "Google Password Manager" then "Passkeys").  
3. Delete the Passkey:
        • Look for an option to "Delete" or "Remove" the passkey.
        • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
