Create a Gift Certificate as Part
1. Navigate to the Parts & Service Tab and select New Part
2. Complete the bolded fields, under the Part Number and Description, Cost
3. Choose Categories/ Class Assign a Category from the drop-down and click OK
4. Checkmark the Non-Stock Item Box, the Cost, Selling Price and Bin will no longer be mandatory fields
Note: Gift Certificate may be Taxable depending on local standards.
5. Save
Selling a Gift Certificate
1. Create an Invoice
2. Add the Gift Certificate as the Part
3. Key the desired Selling Price
4. Cash-out using any Payment Type
Redeeming a Gift Certificate as a Payment
1. Create a new Invoice or Repair Order and enter part(s) / job(s) as usual
2. Cash-out using the Gift Certificate Payment Type
